Top 10 Endangered Places List Nomination Form

First launched in 2005, the National Trust's Top 10 Endangered Places of Canada list is released annually to bring national attention to historic places at risk due to neglect, lack of funding, inappropriate development and weak legislation. From architectural landmarks to simple vernacular housing, stone railway stations to mid-century modern airports, heritage districts to cultural landscapes, the list has become a powerful tool in the fight to save places that matter.

The National Trust evaluates selected places based on a variety of factors including the significance of the site, the urgency of the threat, and the extent of community support for its preservation.

Please answer the following questions about the place you are nominating for inclusion on the Top 10 Endangered Places List. The National Trust may contact the nominator to confirm details of the nomination and to ask additional questions about the site and its circumstances.
